Another repetitious rhythm section with some ambient sounds on top. Here I used Reason and it’s Arpeggio Lab player to make a synth line in Objekt and a bass line in Monotone, with the rhythm of the bass line offset by a 16th note. Then I programmed a drum loop using samples from my actual drum kit. All of the above with some distortion/bit crushing of various forms.
Once that was done, I ran my OP-1F through the MOOD mk2, Chroma Console, and Microcosm to get this distorted lead that accidentally sounds a bit like Robert Fripp (think the King Crimson Projekcts). It certainly doesn’t sound like a King Crimson track. But that sound made me nostalgic. Enjoy!
