This one is all about realtime beat destruction. I made a quick simple beat on the Teenage Engineer Tonic drum machine. Then, I ran it through the Chase Bliss Lossy, Chroma Console, and Microcosm. After that it was a bunch of knob twiddling to mangle the sound. I was tempted to add something melodic to it, but the beat is taking up so much space, everything I tried was just kind of a mess…well, bigger mess than this turned out to be.
