The thing about Novembeat that is both difficult and also freeing is the time constraint. If you start going down a path that isn’t working, you kind of have to commit anyway. That is what happened tonight. I decided to try and run my guitar through the Lossy and Hologram pedals to make some evolving ambient loops with a little noodling over the top. Unfortunately, it ended up sounding really harsh to my ears. Not as dreamy as I was hoping for. But, I had already invested a bunch of time in the recording. So, here we are. Added some Addictive Drums, Monotone bass, and a bunch of effects to try and bring it all together. It’s…something.
